How to get a free Agnes AI API key (takes a minute)
  1. Open platform.agnes-ai.com and sign up with your email — it's free.
  2. In the console, go to the API Keys page and create a key. It starts with sk-.
  3. Copy the key, paste it into the field above, and start generating.

Your key is saved in this browser only (localStorage) and every request goes directly from your device to Agnes AI — ToolNest never receives your key, your prompts, or your images.

Is this AI image generator free?
The tool is free and unlimited. Image generation runs on Agnes AI using your own API key, and Agnes currently includes free image generation credits, so you pay nothing to get started.
Why do I need an API key?
Text-to-image needs a real AI model running on a server, which cannot live inside a static website. Your key lets your browser call the Agnes image model directly, and keeps usage on your own free quota instead of a shared pool that would be exhausted in minutes.
Where is my API key and prompt sent?
Directly from your browser to Agnes AI's API endpoint (apihub.agnes-ai.com). ToolNest is a static site with no server, so your key is stored only in your own browser and neither your key nor your prompts ever touch this website.
How is this different from the other image tools?
Compress, resize and PNG-to-JPG edit images you already have, entirely on your device. This tool creates brand-new images from a written description using an AI model, which always requires a server-side model call.
What sizes and aspect ratios can I generate?
Resolution tiers 1K, 2K, 3K and 4K combined with eight ratios from 1:1 square through 16:9 widescreen to 21:9 cinematic. A 1K 16:9 image comes out at 1312×736; a 2K square at 2048×2048.
Can I use the generated images commercially?
That depends on the AI provider's terms, not on this site. Check Agnes AI's terms of service for the current rules on commercial use of generated images before using them in paid work.
