By accessing or using https://toolnest.work ("the Site") you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the Site. These terms apply to every visitor; no account or signature is required for them to take effect.

The Site offers a set of free browser-based utilities for working with files, text and data. The tools are provided as a convenience, free of charge, on an as-is basis. We may add, change, suspend or remove any tool at any time without notice, and we do not guarantee that the Site will be available without interruption.

Because the tools run inside your browser, their behaviour depends on your device, your browser version and the amount of memory available. A tool that works on one machine may be slower or hit a limit on another.

You agree not to:

• Use the Site to process content you do not have the legal right to process, or that infringes anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Use the Site for anything unlawful, or to produce material that is fraudulent, defamatory, harassing or otherwise harmful.
• Attempt to disrupt the Site — including automated scraping at a rate that degrades service, probing for vulnerabilities without permission, or circumventing security controls.
• Interfere with the advertising on the Site, generate invalid ad traffic, or click ads in an artificial or automated way.
• Rebrand, mirror or resell the Site or its tools as your own product.

You keep all rights to the files and text you process. We claim no licence over them and never receive a copy: processing happens locally in your browser, as described in the privacy policy.

You are solely responsible for keeping your own backups. We cannot restore, recover or resend anything you have processed, because no copy ever reaches us.

The name ToolNest, the Site design, its written content and its source code are owned by us or used under licence, and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may use the tools freely, including for commercial work, and you may link to any page. You may not copy the Site's content or code wholesale to build a competing site.

The tools are built on open-source libraries that remain under their own licences, held by their respective authors.

The Site displays third-party advertising, primarily through Google AdSense. Ads are selected by the ad network, not by us, and their appearance on the Site is not an endorsement. Any dealing you have with an advertiser is between you and that advertiser.

The Site and its tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that any calculation, conversion or generated output is free of error, nor that a tool is suitable for a regulatory, legal, financial or safety-critical purpose. Verify anything important before you rely on it. See the disclaimer for more.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for any loss of data, profit, revenue or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Site — even if we have been advised that such damage is possible.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid to use the Site (which is zero) or USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, demand, loss or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the Site, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.

The Site links to external websites and documentation that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability or practices, and including a link is not an endorsement.

We may revise these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, and the "Last updated" date shows when it last changed. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in force.
