Every tool on ToolNest has a genuinely useful free tier — not a crippled demo. The free tier is the tool most people need, funded by the ads you see on tool pages. Pro exists for the crafters, teachers and small sellers who push the tools further: bigger projects, more palettes, finer detail.

Pro is one license for the whole site. As new generators gain advanced options, they join Pro too — the license covers what exists today and what gets added while it is active.

There is no account and no password. When you buy Pro you receive a license key by email — a single long code. Paste it into the activation box inside any Pro-gated tool, and the advanced options unlock on that device. Your key keeps working on every browser and device you own; it is a per-person license, not a per-seat subscription.

Because keys are verified offline, Pro keeps working even if this site is ever slow, sold or shut down — annual and monthly keys carry their own expiry date, and lifetime keys never expire.

Checkout and payments are handled by our merchant of record, which bills in your local currency, collects sales tax and VAT where required, and processes cards and PayPal. Your card statement shows the merchant of record's name, not ToolNest.

Annual and monthly plans renew automatically until cancelled — you can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. If Pro is not what you expected, reply to your receipt email within 30 days for a full refund; we would rather fix the tool than keep $29 that made you unhappy.

Is the free tier time-limited or watermarked?

No. The free tier is a real tool you can use every day, forever, with no sign-up. Free downloads carry a small footer credit on printed charts; Pro removes it. Nothing else about the free tier is artificial — the caps simply reflect the settings most casual projects need.

What happens to my patterns if my Pro license expires?

Nothing is lost. Patterns you already downloaded are yours. When a license expires the tool quietly returns to its free settings — any options that need Pro fall back to the free defaults the next time you open the page.

Do you see my designs?

No. Tools run entirely in your browser and your images are never uploaded — that is true on the free tier and stays true on Pro. The only data a purchase creates is the license record itself: an email address and the key.

Can I use one license at school or in my small business?

Yes. A license belongs to one person, so you can use Pro at home, in your classroom and on your work laptop. If several people need it, each buys a key — the price is deliberately set so a teammate buying their own is the cheaper option for everyone.

Why does the buy button say “coming soon”?

Pro is rolling out tool by tool, starting with the Perler Bead Pattern Generator. The tiers above are final — when checkout opens, the buttons on this page go live.
